I have just upgraded my WRT54GL with the latest tomato firmware. :) The configured WET works okay when I ping the remote computers behind the WLAN. When I configure my computer with a static IP, DNS and GW everything works fine but when i want the DHCP-Server to assign the addresses on my computer the addresses stay blank (

Does someone know what's going wrong?

Is the GL the primary router ? What type of radio is the WET ? I have used Wireless Ethernet Bridge mode and it does allow connected clients to obtain by DHCP.

The GL which is working as WET is connected to an Access Point at my university. I don't know which type of AP they use. Security of the WLAN is disabled.

I'm not sure what to suggest next. I wouldn't think that W.E.B. mode could be brand/protocol specific. Seems like it would work the same with any brand of AP host. My testing was with 2 Tomato radios.
