    Newbie here. Specs:

I have been using some adblock scripts but recently stopped working. I tracked it down to the fact that there is some issue with the wget utility.

    • ran wget in an ssh console and it waits on "Connecting to <url>" for a long time and eventually returns "no response from server"

    • ran the above with all the wget options available, same results.

    • Upgraded to the the latest Tomato and it worked. Flashed the router back to MLPPP-Tomato got the issue back

    • win32 wget on my windows box works too

Unfortunately the wget utility that busybox has doesn't provide much debugging options.

Any idea is appreciated. Thanks in advance!

Another test: wget can get a file from an ftp server on my home network.

Is it something on the router that prevents it to wget something outside my LAN? Any idea?
