Which two of three 54G's should I keep? (v2, v2.2, or v3)

Discussion in 'Cisco/Linksys Wireless Routers' started by TambourineMan, Jul 29, 2005.

  1. I have three WRT54G's available from which I can keep two. I have one each of version 2, 2.2 and 3. My main need is for as fast a WDS as I can get and for increased transmit power. The main may have wireless lappies connecting to it, but the remote (at 300m+) repeater will just have a wired connection. Which two should I keep?

v2.2 has the disconnect when you have hugh throughout poblem.

think that if you had the option of 2 wrt54gv2 then that would be best. but the v3 and v2 sounds good too.

Both, v2.2 and v3. are affected by the disconnection problem.
