    I'm trying to run a network configuration like we use at work where all development machines have a fixed ip address, and bind resolves all <projectname>.<pc>.localdomain.be to <pc>.localdomain.be.

    We do this by assigning a fixed ip through dns for the mac address and in bind we put two lines like below he db.localdomain.be file.

    metis           A;
    *.metis         CNAME   metis;
    In the latest tomato i set <pc>.localdomain.be to a mac address and ip. And it resolves to the internal ip address. I'm looking for a way to configure the wildcard next. dnsmasq doc's don't mention wildcards in hostnames, so i was hoping somebody here knew if it was possible and how
