Hey guys, just wanted to check....basically all I do for this is setup the wireless ssid/channel and security of the network I'm connecting to correct?

    just like here : http://www.polarcloud.com/v/scclient.htm

This will then make the router a client of the wireless network I intend to connect to and the router will then manage its own clients?

Do I need to change DHCP at the top to static and input the main routers ip address? do I need to disable the firewall? anything else I need to know? It just seems to simple in tomato's scclient demo....

thanks for answering this question -- I just can't seem to get it working!

I've done some testing, and can verify that it really is that simple. Did you set the Channel, SSID and Encryption Key to match the souce ? Encryption keys can be tricky. Do you control the source radio ? Can you test with no encryption ?

yeah, it really does work this easily....I was helping my dad over skype who's now in Turkey and he had the wrong WEP key :(
but he got the newest key and all is well and working thanks again for assuring me I was on the right track :)
