hi to all, i have just installed the dd-wrt (16/12 voip version) on my wrt54gs v4
    setup connection (via a adsl2mue modem)>ok
setup dhcpd rules (mac to ip)> ok but strangely i must click on "save settings" after every mac/name/ip, with add the value inserted desappear (no prob at all :) )
setup ddns > doesn't works but seems to be a common prob with this release
    setup range forwading for a p2p soft>ok
some porb with connection slowdown using a p2p client> ok, searching in this forum i find a solution :)
configured the wifi section ..essid hidden, mac filter enabled and mac added, wpa2 psk-tkip enable with a key: the wireless client connect to the wrt but seems to there isnt a dns avaible (ping to the lan pc works, and to the wrt too, and to google ip address too!): the name is not solved
i have tryed with a non secure lan: mac filter disabled and no security but nothing change
the dns is not correct o redirect to the client
obviously the client is set to "auto dhcp", with a ipconfig i see that the lan config seems to be correct true ip (assigned with dhcpd) and true subnet, the gateway and the dns have the correct wrt ip)
surely i have missed something during the configuration: what's?
    any suggestion?

You've hit the bug #0000466: DNS problems with builds from 12&14.12.05!,

Add any valid internet Nameserver in your router Setup>"Local DNS".
    And names will resolve.
Note: I used the 1st DNS from my ISP, found at Status>Router>DNS1 and now it works!

I was having this same problem last night. I finally figured out that I needed to insert my ISP's DNS servers into the static IP I set on the wireless PC. Since I could ping and use the wireless router, but not get on the internet. Now only if I could get my 2 wrt54g rotuers to use WPA instead of WEP.

thx for the reply. i know that is possible to set manually the dns on every client, but so using more wireless lan is very complicated, but thx for the idea ;)
i thinked that it was a strange options in the dd-wrt, but seems to be a bug now
but not so bad, with the Alim suggestion, i have modify the connection setup add a dns manually (other 2 are detected automatically by the dd-wrt.. so, now i have 3 dns)
i cannot try now but i think that the problem is partially solved :D
    thx again for the help
