    Hi all,

Intro: I'm trying to get a wireless network up & running at home, primarily for internet connection sharing (ISDN).

So far, I've got a WAP54G, and have it up & running as follows:
    ---------Laptop- [Wireless]
    -----Access Point
    --------\-------- [CAT5]

I'm a networking n00b, so things could be wrong...

Anyway, I can ping my laptop from the PC, but not vice versa. Any help would be much appreciated...

You should have gotten a WRT54G. WRT54GS oar WRT54GX router or get a wired router to supplement your network. The problem is the WAP54G does not have a DHCP server. Connected a wired router, with a DHCP server and have it issue IP Addresses. You are probabily are only getting one IP Address and only one computer can connect. The other alternative is to st up your network with static IP Addresses, but remember to setup the DNS server addresses.
