This is driving me nuts...to the point that I have called Cisco.

Dell Dimension 9200 with WMP54G v4.1 drivers, XP SP2, Wireless Zero Config, WPA2 patch installed.

It will connect to a WAP54G running WPA2-Personal-AES, but not to a Cisco 1240AG running WPA2-Personal-AES (AES CCMP + TKIP + WEP 128 bit as Cisco calls it)

I have a Dell Latitude D600, Vista RTM, Vista drivers for a Broadcom ABG card. Can connect to both APs without a problem. Verified that they both show WPA2-PSK-AES.

When I just let Windows "figure it out" on the XP box it does indeed see the network as a WPA2-PSK-AES as I assume it should. It will only say Automatic and never connect.

Is there something stupid I am missing?

I suggest you to use the Ralink RT61 driver !
    See here !

I did that and the same thing. Cisco says it's not their AP. I am giving up and trying to replace it with a WAP54G instead. It's going to be easier than replacing the cards in a bunch of computers.

AFAIK, there is a beta to fix the issue between WMP54g and Cisco 1200 series... not sure if that'll fix your issue.. but i feel its worth the try.

I have the same problem with WMP54G and Cisco 1130AG. Do you know where I can get that beta fix?
