Hey guys, got a router here (at work), new-in-box, that I would like to setup to replace an aging (and altogether subpar) AP, with this WNDR3400v3.

Found this thread, but it was explicitly for the v1 hardware. Is that still the way to go? Newer builds somewhere?

I've obviously found Netgear FW a tad lacking, though they do include a piece of paper with the manual with the GPL on it, which means....something?

If no progress on this front, I'll just try to use as-is, it would probably be leaps and bounds better than the AP sitting there now.

AFAIK the v3 is not supported in dd-wrt, Tomato, or OpenWRT.

Alright, thanks. Just wanted to double-check before I get into it. It was already bought and waiting to be used, so instead of dealing with flaky WiFi, I'll use a real router!
