Ok, I was at Sam's club recently and they had some routers on sale- a bundle of the WRK54G and one WUSB54G for 80$ or the WRT54GS for 60$. I purchased the bundle not knowing how much the usb network adapter would cost seperately or if it would work with the WRT. Now just a few days after purchasing it. I am fed up with the constant reinstalls and disconnects I have to suffer through. However I am wondering if there is a simple fix to solve my disconnct problem since the connection is almost always very good w/ 54 mbps. The problem is random disconnects from the internet and difficulty getting reconnected.

Any help in the matter would be greatly appreciated

You are not getting much action here. I purchased the other Linksys wireless modem at Sam’s Club and the thing has been bullet proof. I am using it as an access point behind a Linksys wired router. Can’t access my wired network, but Internet access works great.

I am wondering if your disconnect problem is related to other 2.4 GHz devices in the vicinity, like cordless phones, etc.
