my problem is, that i finally made my wrt54gsv4 to work with a wrt54gv5.. (was a long time to do it:)), but, there is one more problem i have got.

is there a way, that my wrt (wich is in client bridge mode) could connect to my isp via wan, and share the connection to the computers wired to the router?

(this is because, we both have a separate internet connection, and i don't wanna use a second router, just to connect to the net.)

    so a little ascii:

    internet1 --- wrt54gs ---- pcs
    internet2 --- wrt54gv5 ---- pcs

cause now it works like this:

    internet1 --- linux router --- wrt54gs --- pcs
    internet2 -------------------- wrt54gv5 ---- pcs

so the second one is the current state, and i would like to make the 1st :) (it's not required to access each others internet, only the pcs)

sorry for the dot's before |wlan| but if no dot's, the figure is not good:) (hope you see what i mean)

yes, and one more thing, i would realy like to use the same network subnet for the LAN (wlan)

so basically you just want to remove the linux router and have the wrt take over for it?
i dont see a problem with that, just unplug the cable from the linux box and plug it into the wrt wan port, make sure all the ip and nat stuff is correct and run with it.

yes, the problem is, that if wrt is doing a wlan client bridge, it can't make a pppoe connection????!!!! that is my problem.

ok. now i almost did it.. but only google loads on client computers, and ftp, and email , ping is working, but nothing else doesn't (like web, msn, etc..)

i did it with, setting the router to wireless bridge,

    pppoecd blablabla

route add default gw theipwichthedslisconnectedto (isp)

    echo 1 > .../ip_forward
    iptables masquerade..

now i don't know what else to do, to make it work
