    hello everyone :)

ok, here's my issue. My wrt110 wireless range isn't far enough to the other room... I have here a wrt54g that i would like to use, since it has a antennae it would prob reach further...anyhow, i've search and this wrt110, doesn't have a bridge (my guess how it has to be) is there a way i can hook these 2 up so i can get better wireless distance?

Can you run an ethernet cable between the two? If so, you can use the WRT54G as an AP.

If not, I do believe dd-wrt has the ability to make the 54G act as a repeater, depending on what version you have.

The only problem with using the WRT54G as a repeater is that the throughput will be half the normal one for it. It only has one radio and will have to receive and then retransmit the signal. The AP route is best. Mount the WRT54G as high as possible and avoid objects such as fish tanks and large metal objects.
