My WRT160N gets very warm to the touch.

Should I be concerned about my router burning up, melting, or even catching fire?

    Thanks for any help!

I have a WRT160N (version 1) running for weeks and I do not see your problem, even not for the main adapter. it is not getting very warm. In your case i would contact technical support.
