I have been looking for a way to reset the local (as opposed to the internet logon) password. When I setup the router originally it gave me a local-access password that I wrote down and subsequently lost. I can only log on to the router with the internet logon. Which is OK as long as the internet is up.

On the page that lets you change the password, it asks for the current password which I don't know so there is no way to change the password. It seems to me that this is an unnecessary check.

So how can I change my local password without resetting the router and re-installing it?
