WRT300N From Inside

    Hi all

    I whas realy curious what is inside my new router so i took it apart.
    That whas realy easy couldnt see any void label.
    Some pics will show some more info.

    The wireless card looks like a mini pci ?
    And i see nothing to use a jtag for ?
    The antenne part looks replaceable maybe for better ?

    nice pics. in my opinion, it looks like a miniPCI slot to me too. That's one LONG wireless card..

    Hope not its giving any problems if there is no jtag on the device to recover from an bad flash ?
    If i look at the antenna part i think there can be other better antenna on it with some diy.

    Seriously, this can't be a v1 ! :eek: The only good thing i see about it is that the antennas are connected using standard MC-Card connectors so you can simply connect other high gain antennas for further reach. I', sure the wires can be routed ousite through a small hole :)

    Oh well too bad it's an Intel + Atheros based box.. it won't be eassilly supported especially since Atheros support was just recently enabled in OpenWRT.

    Great pics! The button next to the led's is for the wrt350n model. It is the "reserved" button for storage link media server.
