WRT350N Drive Mapping

Discussion in 'Cisco/Linksys Wireless Routers' started by mikegroseclose, Jul 25, 2008.

  1. I have a WRT350N with a USB Hard Disk (Seagate FreeAgent) attached. We have a "file server" type folder on the drive where we store shared documents.

I have users with Laptops that come into the office from time to time. I'd like to set-up a quick way for these laptop users to map to these folders.

I wanted to set-up a batch file with NET USE commands. That way the user could easily click on the desktop batch file to connect to the drives.

However, I was told by Linksys live chat support that those won't work.

Does anyone have some thoughts on a simple way? Other than just manually mapping the drive?
