i am currently using 'Robert "Robson" Mytkowski''s wrt45 script generator to create a bandwidth management script with the tomato firmware.

    I have shared a 20mb down/768kb up connection between 3 users, 9mb, 9mb and 2mb down, and 250kb, 250kb and 268kb respectively.

This all works fine. However the problem i have my isp, Virgin Media, now "bandwidth manage" themselves.

If i download more than 3gb between 4pm and 9pm, or upload more than 1.25gb during these times - as soon as that limit is hit, i have my connection reduced to 5mb down/192kb up - for 5 hours.

Does anyone know if there is a way i can set a firewall script that will still share the 20mb bandwidth during non 4-9pm hours, as i have already set up - but between 4-9pm all 3 users have a different set of down/up limits, which would stop us reaching that 3gig/1.25gb cap limits?

Ive searched google based on some of the commands that are in the script i already have, but i cannot find anything that is time based. If someone could help me out with this, i know alot of Virgin Media users who use the the wrt54 router and would be very greatfull to avoid the bandwidth cap!

    Aaron :)
