ok what i am basicaly trying to do is whenever some one conects to my wrt54g runing Alchemy-V1.0 and opens there browser i want them to be redirected to a webpage on my network the same way that you get redirected to the T-mobile acesspoint webpage when you conect to the t-mobile hotspot. the reason i want to do this is because i am living on campus at my school and i want to give away some space on my FTP server. So when they open there browser when they are on my network they are taken to my page where they can contact me to get there own FTP password to there privat space and the password for the public space.

i also have another question that is related to this. the router that i want to do this on is not conected to the internet. each student has 2 wireless cards (external conects to the school network) (internal will conect to mine)

when i am conected to both networks at the same time i cant get on the internet and when i am only conected to mine i have the same problem but that is because that router has no internet conection.

is there a way that i can make my router only conect the computers on my network together but not try to conect the users to the internet

    thanx for any help

What you need/want my friend is chillspot which is not offered in the GUI on Alchemy. Either move to the forked dd-wrt firmware which has a chilli interface I believe, or start learning the chilli config and command line (steep learning curve ahead).

You lost me on this one. You want your wrt to only offer LAN services or you want to connect(bridge) it to the campus internet connection?
