as fare as i know pptp connections dont support ddns as it encruypts your connection from your ISP's end. your isp / server will need to allow your ip real ip to pass thru

try going to www.whatismyip.com and see what the page results say your ip address are, post back please

www.whatismyip.com has shown my real ip
but i've already solve the problem by changing my modem from pptp into pppoe

    thanks ;)

    problem solved without ppoe

The problem can also being solved by using a different firmware that can handle the combination pptp and ddns ( dyndns ).

"Freeman" Firmware, based on 1.04 from Sveasoft does it right. you get it from http://wrt54g.cybermart.ca/ .

if somebody needs details - ask :thumb:

    DDNS with Tarifa B015

Is freeman compatible with Tarifa B015?
I have same problem that DDNS gives wrong address. I need to use PPTP and the DDNS page for WRT54GL shows the correct IP address.

Tarifa b017 with PPTP and L2TP support for DDNS.

Tarifa b017 has l2tp and pptp support for ddns.
