I want my wrt54g to be in cliënt bridged mode, (not routed).

What I mean is the following: The devices connected to the cliënt are in the same subnet ast the one's connected to my "router" they must even get there IP address from the central DHCP server. All the examples I have seen so far make a new IP network. And I need to enter an extra routing table in the contral router (I do not want that)

Can this be done with dd-wrt?

    Latest V23beta2 should work fine.

It's still in beta phase, and certainly not bug-free, but I think it is stable enough for using in production environment.

I recommend you to browse its bug trackers to see the remaining problem of this firmware. Here is the URL (you will need to register first)

Didn't see anything untoword in using the WRT54GS in wireless bridge mode of multiple clients to a router.
