WRT54G: Port 80 Apps don't work after time...

    Hy folks,

    maybe its not a router-specific problem. I have two pcs connected. One with LAN the other one with WLAN. On the LAN-PC there is E-Mule and BT. First, everythings fine. But after some time IE and FireFox (Opera etc.) can't get a connection to the Internet. Outlook, IRC, Skype, ICQ etc. are still working and getting a connection but not the Browsing-Apps. After reseting the Router everthings fine again. So whats the problem here? I will be pleased to hear some ideas.

    I have read several threads about the WRT54G router needing to be power cycled afte using Bittorrent. I have not seen any dealing E-Mule. It is a known issue. Linksys has solved a problem with large file downloads with their latest firmware for the WRT54G and WRT54GS.

    You may have to set BT as a lower Priority in QoS options. I did and everything works. I also use BT on my wireless machine and had to lower my wireless transsimisson rate.
