    I am using a Linksys router WRT54G.

In IE and Mozzila, i try to access the router using the IP , i put in my password, and the linksys screen sort of comes up, but it is missing a lot of detail, and can just see the blue, white and grey background, the logo and a few numbers in some boxes. there are no links on the page.

    Any ideas/solutions? Thanks!!!!!

Are you trying to access it wireless or wired?
If wireless you might try it wired to one of the lan ports?

Hi all. I followed a sig link from sonycrx on chetnet forums to get here.

I've been given a WRT54G V5 for xmas and have been trying to set it up today with my NTL STB. Not having too much success so far, and seem to be having the same problem as bennyshah. I've taken a screen shot of what I see when I access [IMG]. I am using a wired connection so far, thought I'd try and get it working before I try wireless.

I tried to sort it out with the online chat at linksys but not had any joy so far. I'm thinking that I should upgrade the firmware first before returning it to the place it was bought?

The problem is that I can't access the config pages of the router (see pic). I tried the management console as listed on the linksys website but that didn't work. Would appreciate any help or ideas from anybody.

Try browsing your router with Internet Explorer, and make sure you have JavaScript enabled. Reboot both your computer and the router first. Looks like a problem with interpreting the firmware JS.

Got it sorted now thanks. I had to run the management mode from IE, Iwas using Opera (my regular browser), this was the problem. Using the management mode in IE I was able to flash the firmware and everythings hunky dory now.

The linksys website is similar, it doesn't like Opera at all.

Are you running any type of Ad blocking software? Some will block images based on their size, thus possibly blocking some of the page you see.

    I had the same problem.

...for me....was to deactivate my Zonealarm firewall (after unplugging the cable out to the Net). I tried configuring fully open for the router http address but this didnt help.

I was able to see the full router panel with Zonealarm off, so there lay the problem.

Umm, I have problem with my router configuration page, too. I switched to Management mode to upgrade the 1.00.6 firmware and now I don't know how to get out of Management mode. Somebody here said about "power cycle" the router, but I don't understand that term. In Management mode, my Internet connection dies out, too. Help please!
