We have a problem with our WRT54G router.
It have one cable connection (a server).
After restart the router, the connection is ok.
But after 1-2 weeks the router is slowing down the cable connection, and we have problem when we want to print to server or copy files to it.

When we restart the router again, the problem is vaninshig - for one week only.
    So this is repeatable problem.

So I thinking about that I make a script that restart this router.
But I don't know, how to access the admin interface from this server.

There is two way I think:
1.) Tel-net like solution in Python.
    2.) Autogenerated key/mouse events.

I prefer the telnet like thing.

Please help me, how to access my router in telnet like way, and how to force to restart itself (week by week).

    Thanks for your help:

    The problem is that:
It have 4 cable connectors, and no matter, which used, the cable connection have speed/accessiblity problems on 1-2 weeks after restarted.
