I have been using a BEFW11S4 B router with no problems. Decided to move up to a WRT54G. The WRT will not setup using the setup disk wizard with a request to manually setup manually.

All leds on the WRT54G are lit looking normal. However the router will not setup and connect to the internet.

Manually I have tried to setup the WRT54G with the same basic setup information that worked on the BEFW to no avail. Any suggestions as to what I am doing wrong. TIA, Keith

Are you connected to a cable modem? If you do, you have to power down everything and power up the modem, WRT54G and PC in that order. Your ISP may require you clone the MAC address of your BEFW11S4. Some ISPs record the the MAC address of the computer or reouter connected to the modem.
