WRT54G v1.1 switch ports not working / DHCP gives wrong info

Hi, whilst messing around with my settings, I gave the WAN connection a static IP instead of DHCP. This left my router uncontactable, so I had to issue a hard reset.

Upon reboot, I was able to contact my router via the WiFi connection only.

I have plugged my ADSL modem into the WAN/Internet port as usual, and made sure the setup was identical as before, yet now, instead of my router getting the IP address from my ISP, for some reason my PC (on WiFi) is assigned that address instead of an address from the local subnet, as it is configured to do!

Also, trying to connect to the router via a wired connection to ports 1-4, I'm unable to contact the router. There are link lights showing there is power, but nothing else.

So, in order for me to access my server, I have to plug it into the Internet port because that's the only port I'm able to contact it on via my WiFi connection.

I have even tried upgrading to the latest Linksys firmware, yet the same problem remains. I'm a little flumoxed at this point and wonder if anyone has ever come across this issue before and whether or not it is fixable?

    Thanks in advance,
