I know v5 has less memory. Have anyone tried to upgrade the memory and flash ?

The v5 is using generic SDRAM(from ISSI) and NOR gate flash(MXIC), which is also very generic. After reading datasheet of memory and flash memory, I happen to have parts that are compatible - Micron SDRAM and AMD Flash.

But, I am wondering if DD-WRT (or other linux firmware) supports these components on v5, especially the flash memory.

PS: I am working as a firmware enginner for a company developing embedded system. So, hw upgrade is quite accessible for me.

    i'm also curious about this.

Anyone know if the instructions for v4 would work for v5?
