    Hi! Im new to this so pls help me out about my problem. I just bought a new laptop from Dell, but I havent got it yet. I live in a Duplex. My parents live on the upper level, and I live at the basement. They have a Apple with dsl highspeed connection. what kind of router do I need? to get a connection in the basement. i have a pc and a laptop that I want to use in the basement do I need a WRT54G or BEFSR41. which will you recommend? thank you!     Definitely go with the WRT54G. You've got more options with what you can do with it besides the stock firmware. I just picked up my WRT54G tonight and signed up on the site here so I can try some things out. One thing for sure though, you do want G when you get it especially if you're moving things around the network.
