WRT54G WDS Dlink 900AP+

    I was just wondering if there is any chance of the WRT54G being a repeater for the Dlink 900AP+. The Dlink 900AP+ can apparantly act as a repeater, but I couldn't make the WRT54G talk to it. Was I not trying hard enough? or is it a lost cause because dlink is using a completely different protocol?

    on the WRT54G I'm using Satori-4.0 v2.07.1.7sv firmware.

    in the WRT I put the mac address of the 900AP+ in the WDS, but in the Wireless status the rssi for the WDS connection was always 0.

    I tried WDS in lazy mode and it made no difference.

    Any ideas (short of buying another WRT54G)?

    I was trying to do the same thing.... but with no success so far. Currently I have my 'old' bridge still running via my Dlink 614+ which is connected to the WRT54G. Would like to do adirect WDS connect between WRT54G and 900AP+ though

    Seems like the WDS standard is not standard. Par for the course I guess
