My Dell laptop will connect to a di-54 router at home, but will not connect to the wrtg1 router in my office. I need help. Very frustrated at this point:mad:

rnarby, afore we can help you, you need to provide some details. "Connect" is a relatively wide term.

You might even find that, when you dig a little to find out what sort of network (b, g), what sort of encryption scheme etc., is running on the WRT54GL, and what kind of card (a, b, g) you have in the laptop, what the card's driver can support, etc., you might be able to solve the problem yourself.

There isn't just "a wireless network" as you would usually encounter with wired ethernet, but there are many nuances in wireless networks. The laptop, that is wireless card and driver, must talk exactly the same language, and through the same pipe as the router or other wireless device you are trying to connect to.
