I have a WRT54GL wireless router that has been working wonderfully for the last two years. Is that all I can expect out of it? An hour ago it quit with the message that the radio is disabled. I've powered it down, then back up, reset it, and nothing changed. The message I get is "The radio on your 802.11 network adapter is still disabled. Use the hardware radio control switch to enable it." I see no switch and WHO turned it off?

Did it just die on me?

That message is referring to your computer's wireless network adapter, it has nothing to do with the router. You may have unknowingly disabled your computer's wireless network adapter. If you use a laptop, look for a small switch along it's body's rim - some laptops have a switch which you can use to enable or disable their network adapters in order to save power or whatnot. If you're using a desktop computer or your laptop's wireless adapter switch (if any) is already in the ON position, you may have accidentaly disabled your wireless adapter from within the OS (Windows?) with a few wrong clicks. Enable it via "Device Manager".

Thank you for your help - you were correct - I turned it off and didn't know it, by pressing the 'Fn' key and F2 at the same time. I've turned it back on now. But I do have another question. How do I find out what all the blue symbols (on keys) do when I press the 'Fn' key. Some are obvious, but others not so. I have looked through the stuff that came with my laptop, as well as googling it, but no answers.

also you can find all meanings of those keys in user manual from your laptop. If you still got it
