ok, I'm a noobie and I've used the search feature... but I'm still in trouble.

    Just upgraded from a crap dg834gv5 to a WRT54GL + tomato 1.28 (no mod).
The modem device is a DSL-320T by Dlink with latest firmware.

I set devices in this mode:
    320T: w/ DHCP (range: -
    tomato: w/ DHCP (range: -
tomato connects to 320T by DHCP and from status webpage all seems ok.

    no internet on clients.
If I connect only modem to one computer, it goes on internet without problems.

Have I to set tomato so all the devices are under 192.168.1.x?
    I'm getting dazed and confused.
Thanks for help and sorry for my english.

uh, have I to set the modem into Bridge mode and let tomato to auth?
i.e. adsl user/pass have to be specified in tomato?

You can only set the modem to bridge mode and enter details in router if you have PPPoE DSL connection, do you have PPPoE?

With PPPoA DSL the 320T firmware often runs in a half-bridge mode referred to as ZipB by D-Link. This can cause problems with strange routing being given to the router. Do you get the real ISP WAN IP on the router? If so what netmask and gateway?

With half-bridge mode the router connects to modem using dhcp (with short lease times), you must use a different local lan address on router in this config (you are correct with 192.168.1.x and 192.168.0.x).

    thanks for the infos.
With my ISP I can use both of protocols.
Yesterday I set PPPoA but I will provide PPPoE to the modem and I'll use bridge mode.
    I try this config now.

edit: It works with PPPoE and bridge mode ;)
