    Hello People,
I have a problem today with my WRT54GS 1.1 (with dd-wrt 23 Sp1). All my LAN clients (via ethernet) cannot acquire IP from router.
All the Wlan (via Wireless) can acquire IP easily from router.

    I have tried everything:
    1. Resetting router to the default setting.
    2. Power OFF router.
    2. re-download the firmware and reflash the router.
    3. turning off DHCP and let the clients assign themselves IP. the client sure can get itself IP address. However, itcannot even ping to (where the router address is).

Can anyone tell me what has happened?

Hi... Not sure if I can help.. I would start checking my ethernet cables to the router.. Sounds like one may be defective... I have same router V 1.1 Have you also tried the Reset proceedure for resetting the router... Hold the reset button for 30 seconds and then unplug router for 10 seconds.. Plug back in after 30 more seconds try pinging it again...

Let us know how you make out.. Jerry
