    Hi all... new user...

being doing a little research and now looking to upgrade my befsr41 (which has been very loyal, so I want to stay with Linksys)

Just to clarify some things really....

The GS is a step up from the regular G model as that dosnt have the speedbooster on board. ?

Im assuming I can mix the network up and have both wired and wireless devices, all of which can file share files between each other and use the net all at the same time ?. (i.e. im not limited to either a wired or wireless network) I need to be able to see files on my wired rig with my wireless lappy which im assuming is not an issue.

Well if you get a new GS then it'll be a v5.x or later.

I'd get a WRT54GL which is a G v4 that has the same amount of RAM as the new GS's, but you can still flash it with third party firmware if you choose. Speedbooster (Afterburner) can be enabled by using third party firmware as well.

Anyway the GS is the same as the G except it has more memory and it has Speedbooster available.
