Last night when I got home, I jumpped on my laptop which is wireless and tried to get on the internet, and i noticed that it didnt connect up to my network at home (the network has been set up for about 2 years now) and when i tried to manaully connect to my wireless it asked me for a key, (i use wep) i tried restarting my laptop same thing

since my network has been set up for nearly 2 years, i couldnt remember the user name and password that I set up for ddwrt (i know n00bish thing to forget) so that i could log into my router and grab a netkey so i did a hard restart for 30sec so that would wipe out the nvram on the router, and used the default username and password so now i can get into my router, just to let you guys know, my router uptime b4 i reset it was 548 days  so now i am able to log into my router, and i got one of the net keys and tried it, nothing

so at this point, im kinda stumbed, so i took off the wep, to see if i could even get my laptop to connect back up, and i got it connected, and what not, then i locked it back down with wep and everything worked fine...

and i was just wondering if anyone else has had this problem, bc i found it weird, bc i dont mess with my ddwrt settings, (i had to reset router, bc i couldnt remember the password) (shows how much im in the router lol) and it just up and stopped sending out wireless...

but now everything is back up and running fine, and it took about 20 min of me screatching my head... but it paided off
