    Hi everyone,

I have a question concerning encryption wrt WRT54GS and WPC54GS. The linksys wrt54gs router supports WPA-2 encryption and the wpc54gs supports only wpa-psk encryption, is it possible to set the router to communicate with a notebook pc that is using wpa-psk encryption and another one using wpa2 encryption at the same time?

Is WPA(wpa-psk, tkip or aes) reliable? I know it's only 128bits strength and WPA-2 uses 256bits encryption strength. For person use, is wpa enough?

Also, Linksys offers a USB adapter that supports WPA-2 encryption. Do higher strength encryption slow down older notebooks running xp home?

    Thanks. mrdata007
