WRT54GS v1.0 - More port forwarding and static DHCP...

I bought a WRT54GS v1.0 today because I killed my Netgear WGT624 at an attempt to flash its firmware. I already updated the Linksys to the official firmware v3.37.6.

To be honest, I'm quite a bit disappointed with the confusing configuration menu and the lack of certain features of the Linksys.

There seems to be no static DHCP at all (based on the attached devices' MAC-address). And there are only 10 fields for port forwarding, which really isn't enough for me.

I guess/hope these flaws are corrected in some of the third-party-firmwares.

So my question is: Which firmware allows static DHCP and more ports to forward? (While being stable, if possible.)
What should I install to get these essential (for me) features?

    Alchemy? Satori? HyperWRT? DD-WRT?
I don't need anything fancy, just these two additional features would be nice.

    Thanks for any help.

HyperWRT seems to have more port-forwarding-fields.
But does it also have static DHCP? (It doesn't say so on HyperWRT's website).

HyperWRT does infact have much more entries for port forwarding, but it don'ts have a Static DHCP feature.

I think Alchemy and Satori based firimware have the same amount of entries as stock firmware, however you coudl possibly use IPTAPLES (possibly) to overcome this problem.

Thanks Toxic, I guess I'll try Satori then (since I don't intend to pay $20 for the Alchemy firmware).

Maybe HyperWRT will add the static DHCP feature once, that would be great - since the other features sound really great (increased transmit power, etc...)
