it look like WRT54GX version 2 have some UPNP and port forwarding issue..... curruntly using 2.00.8 fimrware but port forwarding sometiem work sometime not...... but i do found "resolution" for it but not sure this is the one.

    1. disable UPNP
    2. untick all the port forward rulez and save it.
    3. tick again and save it.
    4. reenable UPNP function.

not sure is really UPNP problem or my application causing issue.

    anyone facing same problem?

i find out that linksys had released a 2.00.10 firmware for wrt54gx EU version. As far as i know this firmware is in beta and buggy than 2.00.8
    (DDNS not working)
    (download speed had been degrade)
    (concurrent connection had been reduced)
(PPPoe issue still not yet fixed!!!) <-- if ur router is connected to Internet for more 3 hours, disconnect and reconnect using status page is not encourage because it will loss connectivy from ur LAN to WAN- mayb routing table not updated with new IP)

Last but not less! if u DDOS ur router with ping -t -l 65500
well guess what.. ur router u gone crazy... port forwarding option that suppose to be checked is now uncheck and it cant b save. <-- have torestart to solve this idion issue

when will linksys fix their stupid problem!!!
when will b next firmware release date!!!!

I have just got this router. And im VERY dissapointed in Linksys quality (Again :) Never learn). Before i got my GX router i used a WRT54G router, and the signal strenght and the transferspeed are unbeliveble low.
There are 2 clients in my system. One WAP54G, and a Linksys 54G PCI card (also tested with a LS usb wlan card).
I wasnt to happy with the 54G's speed and range. So i got the GX router. First of all, the firmware that was with it was totaly fucked :). Now i use v.2.00.10 or something..

I hope that linksys release a new firmware soon, so i get better performance, because this is silly and bad work from Linksys's side. Mimo should work much better than this :). (The ruter is placed in a ordinary house, not a palace of a kind. And i get around 1MB in transfare rate :).

    Hi Folks.

I just found a new Firmware for the WRT54GX v2 on the Linksys FTP.
Seems to be NO BETA cause it is placed in the "international/firmware" folder.

I have not tested i yet, but you are allowed to ... :thumb:
