usually within a few month linksys release the beta as an official release to the public once bugs have tried to be fixed. then a changelog will follow.

Is there a 1.70 beta version for the USA? I have roadrunner cable internet and the WRT55AG cannot acquire an IP address due to an incompatibility with the roadrunner DHCP servers. This causes my router to go into an endless power cycle. Linksys said they were going to email me the latest beta to fix this problem but guess what? no firmware has been sent. I assume the EU 1.70 beta will not work with the USA router?

    Thanks for your assistance.

    Where's the update?

It's been a while since this was announced.

The file is no longer there, we're still on 1.30 ETSI Oct 2005 and the route still keeps losing its internet connectivity or power cycling due to incompatiblity with Telewest's DHCP servers.

    What's the current status?
