WRTP54G-Error message logging into web-based adv-set-menu

    I have a new WRTP54G phone router that I do not use the phone service yet. I have connectivity, only I cannot login to the web-based utility without receiving a pw-login error message. I have been told i need to update my firmware version? any Ideas.
    I can't go back to calling Vonage and Or Linksys as they play the problem off on each other and I never get a staright answer.
