WRTSL54GS Overclocking anyone? BCM4704 CPU

    The option is not available in any current dd-wrt builds for the WRTSL54GS, but there must be a way to overclock, right?

    Will changing the nvram clkfreq variable have any effect?
    The default setting is 264Mhz, with 132Mhz backplane.

    This also applies to the Asus WL-500g Premium and a few buffalo models. According to this: http://wiki.openwrt.org/TableOfHardware?action=show&redirect=toh

    The Buffalo WZR-G108 and WZR-HP-G54 uses the same chip but defaults to 300Mhz.

    Would it be safe to set clkfreq=300 ? I can't risk bricking the router, JTAG serial mod is too hard for me to do :(
