I am using a WRV200 to connect a number of wireless laptops to a LAN,

I am not using any of the VPN functionality at present.

I have set it up as a router using the Advanced routing tab.

In the basic settings tab I have set up the IP address of the box and enabled the DHCP server and set the start IP and range. I have also set the DNS IPs to the correct settings.

The problem I have is when wireless laptops connect and get assigned IP addresses and DNS addresses which are all OK but the the gateway address is set to the address of the WRV200. I want to use a different gateway.

    How can I do this?

There is no way to force a different gateway IP, as far as I know. You should use a different device for DHCP service, I'm afraid.
