I want to know if anyone has had any luck using the quick vpn software w/ the WRV54G. I cannot get this to work. I get to where the quick vpn establishes policy, and then get a remote server not responding. I have tried from multiple PC's from multiple locations. I have obtained my CCNA and Solaris 8 cert's but can't get this POS router to work w/ VPN.

I got it to work fine. I do not recall whether you had to load Windows XP SP2, but I think you did for NAT Traversal. You must have router firmware 2.37 loaded and accounts setup under the Access Restrictions, VPN Access page. Make sure all of your other tunnels are disabled. Also make sure that your software firewalls are off. Once you get it working you can go back and change your firewall settings.

Obviously, if your remote LAN where the WRV54G is located is on a dynamic public IP, you should register with dyndns.org and load that info in the router. That way you can always access it even when the address changes.
