Just got a used WRV54G from eBay. Updated with the latest firmware, 2.39.x. This is to replace an old Netgear router. However, I found my Gizmo box won't work. I have called SunRocket and the support I received could not solve the issue. Does anybody have input? (The Gizmo box has the latest firmware too, I got this box 5 months ago).

From looking at the instructions on SunRockets website you stick the Gizmo box before your router i.e. on the internet side. With it in that position nothing after it, i.e the WRV54G, should affect it working.

You might ask at sunrocketforum.com to see if they have any ideas. However, I'm assuming the Gizmo works fine in front of the router? If not, you should probably try to resolve this first. If it works in front of the router, try mac cloning (especially if this is an innomedia ata). Not that you should have to but you can try putting the gizmo in the routers DMZ...

Sunrocket doesn't have any idea and is not willing/not able to help. I have talked to 2 of their support for more than 2 hours and cannot solved the issue. 2 Tickets are opened for this with no result.

If you put the Gizmo on router's DMZ, it won't work. But if you put the router on Gizmo's DMZ. It would work and that is how I do it right now. I haven't done a full test, but the port forwarding I have configured on the Router did work. So it might be a solution. The reason that I didn't want to put the Gizmo in front of the router in the past was that I wasn't sure if all the advanced feature provided by the Router can be maintained.
