I've been using several different versions of Linksys routers/VPN routers over the last several years. Checking out the routers logs has been easy in the past for BEFVP41 and BEFSX41 routers. Simply enable logging and then view the log from within the router. I recent purchased a WRV54G to add wireless capability. I have limited SNMP experience and would like to set logging up so I can view my VPN tunnels as the connect for troubleshooting and viewing other basic logging functions. Linksys provides a Logview app but, provides no instructions on how to set it up with the WRV54G. Can anyone point me in the right direction for some instructions to help me set this up?

    RE: WRV54G Logging

Well, I was able to finally get some information out of Linksys. Looks like the logging capability of the WRV54G isn't near what my old BEFVP41 offered. You have to use the Logview app to see anything which is also a pain. Plus, there is no VPN tunnel summary either. I hope these features are added/improved in a future firmware release.
