I'm almost embarassed to have to make this post, but I have two 54G's connected in a VPN point to point tunnel. I can access my cameras by IP address with no problem, but can not map to the C: drives on the computers behind the other endpoint router. But, if I shut down the tunnel and use quickvpn, I can access the cameras and map to both c: drives on the two networked computers.

I'm sure I'm overlooking something on the tunnel setups on the routers, but I've tried everything that makes sense. I'm hoping someone here has run across this and maybe has a solution that doesn't make sense, but works. One 54G is running 2.37.13, the other is running 2.38. Haven't tried to harmonize the firmware, but that is one of those that doesn't make sense to me.

I would update both routers to the latest firmware, which is 2.39.2, as that will most likely fix it :)

I found this solution after hours of googling at:
This worked and I now have my two WRV54G 's talking to each other and mapping drives. Stupid Microsoft

    Hope that helps someone else!

It's a beautiful thing! Drives map across VPN now. Thanks for sharing what you found. I'm actually using windows XP home on a new Intel Imac, everything now works using either bootcamp or parallels.
