I have a WUSB54G v4, NetStumbler detects all the Ap´s but cannot read the signal/noise. Do you know what is the problem?
    theorically must work http://www.stumbler.net/compat/

It finds APs? I tried netstumbler with my WUSB54G v4 and only got "no APs active" even though I was right next to my WRT54G with it.

Yes works finding AP´s, but does not work with the signal/noise monitor.

Wirelessmon from PassMark software works really Great!

    noise monitor

I saw a note in the NetStumbler release notes about devices that use NDIS5 drivers not being able to monitor the noise figure.

My WUSB54GP shows up in Netstumbler as having a NDIS5 driver., so I figure it won't show a meaningful noise figure.

On mine it shows SNR 50 or 52 when it can occasionally see the AP (see discussion below).

    Other figures are:
    Signal+ is 14
    Noise- is 100
    SNR+ is 86
These don't seem to change or be dependent on whether it can see the AP.

Hope this helps (not sure what it all means!)

That said, I can't get my device to work. It intermittently sees my AP in the Linksys Montor program's site survey, but won't connect from the site survey page or from a defined profile.

In NetStumbler it intermittently sees my ap with gaps of minutes.
    Same in WirelessMon.

My AP is a Billion 7402VGP and it works just fine with my Dell laptop fitted with a Minitar Cardbus wireless adapter.

    Any suggestions welcome.
