You have to get a 64bit driver for Windows Pro 64X. While 32bit application programs work on a 64bit operating system, 32bit drivers don work on a 64bit operating system. Drivers work at a different level in the operating system. You have to get a driver from Linksys, good luck on that one. Check with Microsoft also. If you check the Microsoft knowledgebase there is a detailed explanation on 32bit versus 64bit drivers.

I know the feeling as well.

What I do know is that you will need to modify the .ini file and possible create a new one I believe for security signature.

What I dont know is what exactly needs to be done. That and Linksys is by the looks of it refusing to create a new one.

I like Linksys up to a point were they dont want to involve people in there old projects to update to the new current drivers, and it's something such as this situation that makes me sick.

I've been spending a good deal of time searching for a "Third Option" for this network card and so far no success.

Next option is to take it out back and shoot it to put it out of its messery as well as have a good time venting my frustrations

BTW: If anyone know of a driver that works, Please post it here. Thanks!!
