Hi,
I've been using HyperWRT on my WRT54G network, and I'm quite pleased with it. I have enabled QoS on it, and been generally happy with it.
However, the GUI interface for it doesn't provide me with what I need to do, so I'm thinking about defining the QoS settings manually.
So a few questions:
1) The QoS controls that HyperWRT provides - is that done mainly through the "tc" and "iptables" commands (i.e. can I recreate what is available on the interface by using those commands?)
2) Do I need to set up any qdisc's for incoming traffic to get the same QoS behaviour as the GUI provides? Or can I get the same QoS behaviour just by defining controls for outgoing traffic?
Thanks,
